Commission - German Shepherd/Rottweiler cross by Captured-In-Pencil
Commission - German Shepherd/Rottweiler cross
This is Roma, a German Shepherd/Rottweiler cross and was drawn 16”x16”. She is a rescue and although she has cataracts, it doesn't stop her doing anything! Soft toys don't last long with this four year old, but she loves them all the same. She was a runner up in my Playful Pets competition 2014.

Mechanical pencils 0.3mm, 0.5mm and 0.7mm HB, 2H, 2B and 4B. Lots of cotton wool, tortillions and several rubbers. Was drawn on A2 heavy-weight cartridge paper, with the finished drawing measuring 16"x16". Completed September 2014. 16-17 hours over 4 days.

Commission - Springer Spaniel 'Bruce' by Captured-In-Pencil
Commission - Springer Spaniel 'Bruce'
This Springer Spaniel is Bruce, or to use his full name 'Bruce McDog'. He is one year old, and although he has epilepsy, it doesn't stop his mischievious and loving nature shinning through. His favourite place in the world is on the beach. The photo provided to draw from was taken at the beach on a windy day. Sand on his face, particularly on his nose and around the mouth, was removed to get a better sense of the smooth fur and detail.

Mechanical pencils 0.3mm, 0.5mm and 0.7mm HB, 2H, 2B and 4B. Lots of cotton wool, tortillions and several rubbers. Was drawn on A2 heavy-weight cartridge paper, with the finished drawing measuring 20"x16". Completed September 2014. 16-17 hours over 4 days.

Mechanical pencils 0.3mm, 0.5mm and 0.7mm HB, 2H, 2B and 4B. Lots of cotton wool, tortillions and several rubbers. Was drawn on A2 heavy-weight cartridge paper, with the finished drawing measuring 16"x12". Completed September 2014. 12 hours over 4 days.

This is 'Dot', a Black Labrador puppy who was 9 weeks old in this drawing. She is training as a Guide Dog, but unfortunately she has been suspended from training as she is poorly. Well, 3 months in as a freelance artist, and I couldnt be happeir. Come on, I sit and draw for a living :D

I have a full diary until Christmas and have filled upto March 2015. I had initially planned to draw a new peice per month to sell as an original and prints, but I havent had time with all the commissions.

Also, as well as being a featured artist with Daler-Rowney, I am now a featured artist with Pentel, one of six on their website. I have also been featured in Octobers issue of Dogs Today magazine after drawing their office dog Betty. A whole page about my artwork!

One very chuffed artist :)

Alright, this has gone on long enough. I know you're talented but enough is enough! You produce about damn near 5 drawings a week and there can be only one explanation for it!

...You have six arms haven't you?

DON'T TRY TO DENY IT!

You staged a couple of car accidents and took the arms from the donor victims and had them surgically grafted on to you so you could outdraw everybody, take ALL the art money for yourself, and make us look like pikers in the process! And I know that ONE of those arms was female because there's no way that signature is a man's! Not even a British one! It's too neat and symmetrically aligned!

I'm on to your tricks! You should be ashamed of yourself for making other artists feel inadequate when you yourself cannot accomplish such a thing without an unfair handicap!
